Brian's wife, Jacqueline, contacted us to tell us of the death of her husband...

Brian Dean sadly passed away on 29/03/25. He attended Churcher’s College between 1960-1965, followed by many years working for Hampshire County Council as a surveyor. He lived in Headley until he married Jacqueline Loader in 1972 and moved to Petersfield. He was very much a family man and had two lovely daughters, Joanne and Teresa.  

Brian’s main passion was sport, particularly cricket, and he played for local teams for many years. He also played on many occasions for the Old Churcherians. A particular highlight was when he captained the Old Boys in 1985 when he lead his team to victory! He received the cup from the then Headmaster, Don Brooks and his wife June. 

He will be sadly missed by a huge number of people in the Petersfield area.
